In a couple of weeks The Simon MacCorkindale Fan Page celebrates its 10th birthday, now I don’t have much new to offer, however, I thought it would be good to do a bit of a retrospective of Simon’s career.
So starting the 17th of April we will look at what Simon has done on that day in previous years. This will cover almost everything Simon has been in however there are something’s I’ve not been able to find a date for.
So for our 10th Birthday I’m (hopefully) bringing you a year of Simon, this will be a challenge for me as well so hopefully I can live up to it.

Series: New Tricks Episode: S7Ep5 – Good Morning Lemmings First Aired: 8 October 2010 Character: Sir David Bryant
Description: Brenda and the team reopen the investigation into the murder of graffiti artist Danny Tyler who died from a head trauma caused by a blunt instrument. Their interest in the case has arisen from the appearance of recent graffiti proclaiming ‘I Killed Flak”, Flak being Tyler’s street name. Tyler had acquired a level of fame and his work is now quite valuable. They have CCTV footage of the latest graffiti artist but the person can’t really be identified. There was clearly friction among the taggers in Tyler’s clique, not the least of which due to his rising fame and they were also involved in a string of ATM robberies. When the ‘I Killed Flak’ graffiti is shown to be a publicity stunt, they look at an art patron as a possible suspect. Meanwhile, Brian has taken to using Twitter with the user-name topcop999 but his fascination with it results in him becoming sloppy in his daily work.

Description: Sarah Tyler returns to her troubled family home in the isolated countryside, for a much put-off visit. As a storm rages outside, Sarah, her family and friends shore up for the night, cut off from the outside world. But something comes out of the driving rain and darkness. Something that holds a dark secret so devastating that, in one night, it could wipe out the entire family.

Description: Sir Paul, a distinguished author, blinded in a horrific accident, advertises for an amanuensis, an assistant to help him with his writing. He employs the amiable Jane Ryder to be his eyes as he revisits scenes from his past and works on what he intends to be his final opus. Jane appears to be ideal: attractive, intelligent, unruffled by her employer’s abrupt eccentricities. But, gradually, we come aware that Jane has another agenda. Incrementally, Sir Paul’s familiar surroundings are altered. Strange things happen around the house and he becomes increasingly dependent on his new assistant.
